'Our Mission Involves Exclusively Killing' - How Sudan's Brutal Paramilitary Group Carried out a Atrocity

Militiamen smirk as they move on the bed of a pick-up truck, speeding past a row of nine corpses and driving facing the setting Sudan's evening sky.
"Look at this extensive work. Look at this instance of ethnic cleansing," one cheers.
The individual grins as he points the camera on his own face and his fellow militiamen, their Rapid Support Forces insignia visible: "The victims will all be killed this way."
These individuals are exulting in a mass killing that humanitarian officials believe resulted in the deaths of more than 2,000 civilians in the Sudanese urban center of al-Fashir in recent weeks.
A City Severed from the Globe
Following their control of the community under encirclement for nearly 24 months, from late summer the militia moved to consolidate its dominance and restrict the surviving inhabitants.
Satellite images show that forces began to erect a massive earth barrier - a elevated dirt embankment - encircling the edges of el-Fasher, blocking roads and halting humanitarian assistance.
As the siege intensified, 78 people were killed in an RSF strike on a religious building on 19 September, while the United Nations said dozens additional were murdered in drone and heavy weapon attacks on a makeshift community in the autumn.
Disturbing Video Depicts Defenseless People Shot
At dawn on 26 October the paramilitary force overwhelmed the last military positions and took control of the central base in the community, the headquarters of the Military Unit, as the army pulled back.
Among the most graphic videos to surface and examined depicted the results of a mass killing at a university building on the western side of the city, where scores lifeless forms were visible strewn over the floor.
