The winger Was presented with England’s best chance of the first half, his shot smartly stopped from Thomas Strakosha. With a teammate holding position, he was forced to stretch the play on the right but his crosses from the touchline varied in quality. Replaced late in the match. 6

The captain The difference-maker scoring two more finishes in an England shirt. The first a typical close-range tap-in and the second an excellent headed goal after peeling away off his defender.
