Vince Zampella, a Gaming Pioneer, Has Died in a California Vehicle Accident
The co-creator of Call of Duty, the mind behind the wildly popular video game Call of Duty, has died in a traffic collision in the state of California he was 55 years old.
The tragic news was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the video game company which he helped establish.
The renowned video game developer passed away following his vehicle was involved in a crash and caught fire on a freeway in LA on this past Sunday, US media outlets report.
"We are facing an unimaginable loss, and our deepest sympathies go to Vince's loved ones, his loved ones, and all those touched by his legacy," an official with Electronic Arts stated.
